Working from our cutting-edge textile mill and research laboratories in Lancashire, we are able to meet the increasingly complex specifications of our respected international clients.
In order to retain our reputation as market leaders in coating technology, we invest heavily in research and product development and work closely with our customers to deliver bespoke solutions designed to meet the specific needs of their business. Because of our ability to deliver client specific solutions, we have developed long-running creative partnerships with businesses from around the world.
Product development processes
We have three full time development technologists who work closely with sales and production to develop innovative new products. They are in close contact with raw material, machinery and fabric suppliers to keep abreast of technology. Our laboratory is equipped with bench coaters to produce A4 samples for preliminary testing and a 45cm wide pilot plant to produce continuous narrow width rolls. We also have pilot sized gravure, heated presses, mixing, and lamination equipment.

Our product development team are supported by a very well equipped testing laboratory able to carry out a full range of cross industry tests.
